EducationPh.D in Physics at University of Toledo, GPA 3.6
ExperienceIt was a long and winding road that led me to the decision to become a tutor. Interestingly, my adventure into the world of physics as a student started with a single tutoring lesson, which triggered something magical in my brain and changed me from a struggling student in algebra into one of the top three students in my class.
Ever since that lesson, my interest in science grew dramatically as I started participating in numerous international math and physics competitions and Olympiads during my high school years and let me to my eventual PhD in Physics in 2011.
Through my journey in the classroom I learned the importance of having the right teacher at right time, and I believe that a teacher, tutor, or mentor has a great power to make a subject both fascinating and easy to understand or to make it an excruciating nightmare for a student. I would like to think I belong to the first category as I have successfully tutored numerous students and the majority of them were very happy with the results.
If you are struggling with a math or physics class and want some help to get you over the barrier of understanding, want to further improve your skills, or are looking for an additional challenge I would be happy to tutor you.
