Have tutored little sisters (ages 9, 11, and 12) as they are home schooled. SAT score (2004) of 1200. ASVAB score of 96. I want to be a tutor because I believe I have the knowledge and patience for communicating new ideas to people. As my resume (available upon request) proves, I have gained much experience since college. I love mathematics, writing (and editing), and any subject which challenges my mind. In all honesty, oI am looking for a little extra cash and a positive activity to fill my free time. While tutoring my little sisters, say, mathematics, I have enjoyed noticing the moment where the material "clicks" and they start to solve problems on their own. I believe I can generate the same results with other students, in several subjects. Children of all ages tend to love my sense of humor, but can also benefit from my tutoring abilities.
