I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations at The George Washington University. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Saginaw Valley State University with a major in English and a minor in Communications.


I spent five years teaching high school English in Tampa, Fl. I have taught grades 9-12 in classes such as SAT prep, Independent Reading, English, Honors English, and Journalism. I mentored college students from all academic levels, including non-native speakers of English and students with disabilities, in a variety of writing genres and issues; Presented informational workshops to entry-level college writing classes; Published “The Road Less Traveled: English Education Majors Applying Practice and Pedagogy”in Purdue University’s The Writing Lab Newsletter.
