My methodology when tutoring others is to focus on each student's style of learning, since every student is unique in his or her own way. Regardless of whether you are looking to improve your grades within the classroom, pass a big test, or simply look to improve the way you take notes and study for a class, I try to tailor my tutoring to your personal style of learning.I am currently a teacher in the Fairfax County public school system, where I am teaching social studies to 6th graders. I am also an instructor with the Center for Talented Youth during the summer. I coach the cross country team, too.I am able to teach a vast array of different subjects. I can help others improve in American history, world history, European history, government, sociology, and the social sciences. I am also comfortable teaching elementary and middle school math, reading, writing, and essay editing, among other subjects. I also have the ability to help others improve their study skills and organization, and am able to work with special education students as well.When I'm not helping others to succeed, I enjoy distance running, hiking, off-road driving, and traveling.
