Private tutor in Alexandria, VA
Ball State University - B.A. , English, History , Washington and Lee University School of Law - JD, Law
My passion for knowledge and writing took me to college, but my love of the law brought me further, to law school. I graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts. The University of Ball State was the first college I attended, but Lee University is where I learned law. I am currently employed as an attorney, working through the Department of Justice. I enjoy helping other law students by tutoring them in any subject they need. This includes Writing and Reading, which are two of my passions. I also assist with Math; SAT and ACT prep; and variations of History, including World, European, and American. Test Prep is a valuable subject to study, as it helps students better learn the process for taking and passing tests in a college atmosphere. I not only work with college students, but also those in high school and middle school, typically in math and test prep classes. I provide one-on-one attention to each student to ensure my entire focus for the time is on them and their learning needs. I strive to offer clear details of complex ideas so each one can understand the point I am making. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my dogs, as well as continuing my education about the world through reading and cooking.
