I have received my undergraduate degree, in English, from Stony Brook University. I also have a MA, in Literature, from SUNY New Paltz. I also have a second masters in Secondary Education (6-12) from Duquesne University.

Experience

I tutored in the writing centers while in college, both undergraduate and graduate. I also attend and presented at writing center conferences I have worked for previous tutoring companies in the Northern Virginia area. I have 6 years teaching experience in both urban, city and continuing education settings. In graduate school (Literature) I had a GPA of 3.3 and for my 2nd masters (Education) I had a GPA of 4.0 I enjoy being a tutor because I love getting to help students be successful in the field of English! I love to see the growth that a student can make after receiving help!
