Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Culture and Politics and my master's degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University. I then moved on to attend UCLA, where I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. I have a wealth of experience as an educator, including tutoring students in research and writing and teaching undergraduate seminars on the theory and history of international politics, the political economy of development, nuclear weapons and international security, and U.S. foreign policy. This experience has taught me the skills necessary for students to excel at a college level, especially in writing well. I am from a family that includes a high school English teacher, so the importance of writing and reading at a high level is one of the values I grew up with, and is a skill I honed as a professor at UCLA. I am able to tutor students in a variety of subjects, including algebra, geometry, statistics, history, reading, and writing. I am also able to assist students in AP courses in government and history, and enjoy helping students prepare for the SAT. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, trail running, and rooting for the Tottenham Hotspur.
