I currently have a master's degree in Civilizations of Europe, History, and Art. I am now working on the completion of a master's program in Foreign Languages and Secondary Education at the George Washington University. I love pedagogy and the whole process of learning.I have taught French to students of all ages and at various levels of understanding. I am currently employed at a high school as a part time French teacher. I am doing this while I work to complete my new certification program.I thrive on being able to transmit the structure and communication skills of the French language to my students. I show them that language is another expression of culture. I do like to tutor French in a more one-on-one setting, as this allows my student to receive my undivided attention. I am able to focus on his or her individual gifts and academic needs. Teaching a new language is a thought-stimulating challenge that satisfies me intellectually and gives me the motivation I need in order to be the best teacher possible for my students.Additional subjects that I have an interest in include French, French 2, French 3, French 4, AP French Language and Culture, English, Languages, and ESL/ELL.Some of my personal interests include photography, reading, running, hiking, enjoying nature, and painting.
