I'm a tutor who is based in Washington, DC. When I'm not working with students I love reading and exploring the outdoors with friends. I'm currently focusing on teaching students French and Arabic, both of which I have a very deep expertise in. I've had many wonderful teachers who have shaped my education, for which I am very thankful. I think teachers and tutors have a unique ability to make immeasurable impacts on the lives of young people. This is why I was drawn to the world of tutoring. I hope that the skills I possess in the languages of French and Arabic can make a lasting impact on the students that I work with. I hope to inspire my students to look at the world in a critical light, and cultivate a confidence in them to be their best selves. I'm especially passionate about teaching younger children foreign languages. I feel as though I get as much as them out of our time together, and am constantly in awe at the fast rate at which they can pick up new information. Most of all, I love the feeling I get when a student finally grasps a topic that they've been struggling with for awhile. I'm excited to help students reach their academic goals in whatever way I can.
